La Entrada, a 2,200 acre Master Planned Community, is located in Coachella, California with 3 miles of frontage along Interstate 10. A true New Town, La Entrada has an approved Specific Plan and EIR for 7,800 residential units master planned in several distinct villages linked by over 550 acres of open space. Plans also include over 1.5 million square feet of retail and mixed use space, along with 175 acres of sports/entertainment uses at the planned freeway interchange located at Avenue 50 and Interstate 10. The Gateway Village is home to over 1.5 million square feet of retail and mixed use along with 175 acres of sports park and entertainment uses.
The freeway interchange connecting the project to I-10 is expected to commence in 2019 and open in 2021.
