Verano is a 2,411 ac Master Planned Community located in San Antonio Texas with Texas A&M San Antonio as its centerpiece. The project was stalled post-recession and New West was selected as Asset Manager in 2018 in order to maximize the value for the owners of the project. Verano was repositioned for 50% residential and 50% industrial in 2019 and the residential area was sold to a group of public homebuilders in 2020. The remaining industrial property is projected to be sold by 2023.
